Kewtech KIEWISO2 Safe Isolation Kit Wins Prestigious Electrical Industry Award
The Electrical Industry Awards have announced Kewtech’s KEWIS02 Safe Isolation Kit as the winner of this year’s ”Innovative Test & Measurement Product of the Year” category.
The KEWIS02 overcame competition from Kewtech’s own KT65DL Multifunction Tester and triumphed over fellow finalists, the Megger PAT150 portable appliance tester, Fluke Connect and the Yokogawa PX8000 Power Scope, to win the coveted prize.
Offering a six-step system of proving equipment or circuits dead, the Kewtech KEWISO2 Safe Isolation Kit includes a KT1780 voltage indicator for testing AC & DC Voltage up to 690V, as well as a proving unit, combination lock off device, rewritable warning labels & carry case. The feature-loaded KEWIS02 kit proved to be a hit with the judges and walked away with the major accolade.
The Electrical Industry Awards is an annual ceremony recognising the very best in electrical contracting, test equipment and businesses throughout the UK and is independently judged by a panel of experts.
The winner was announced on Thursday 23 October 2014 at The Royal Garden, Kensington, London, with the event hosted by comedian and presenter, Fred MacAulay.
