FLIR E8 Thermal Imaging Camera

This product has been discontinued, and replaced by the FLIR E8-XT Thermal Imaging Camera.

The Teledyne FLIR E8 is a high-quality thermal camera that offers powerful imaging capabilities while still retaining simple operation and an intuitive user interface. The E8 boasts professional specifications and powerful performance rather than unnecessary features.

With a fantastic 320 x 240 thermal resolution the FLIR E8 has image quality suitable for a whole host of applications ranging from electrical and HVAC inspections to building surveys and even certain veterinary applications.  Further enhancing the E8’s suitability for building inspections is the fixed 45-degree lens which gives a greater field of view. This allows users to capture the whole building from a much closer distance or larger areas in confined spaces.

This camera supports manual tuning of level and span with 3 measurement modes, a centre spot and a Min/Max area box complete with adjustable isotherms.

The FLIR E8 thermal camera is equipped with FLIR’s patented MSX imaging feature (see additional image thumbnails for examples). This unique addition to the FLIR camera adds visual definition to your thermal images through a fusion of digital image detail overlayed onto the infrared image.
In addition, the E8 has hot and cold spot recognition modes where areas that fall above or below a user-defined temperature threshold are highlighted on the image in either red (for hotspots) or blue (for coldspots).

The FLIR E8 comes supplied in a robust carry case complete with a charger, calibration certificate and a download lead. The camera is also supplied with FLIR's Tools Software used for post-analysis of your images. Users can add temperature measurements to the thermal image retrospectively in the software, add notes, and create and customise professional reports. The quality of FLIR Tools software goes hand in hand with the quality of the camera and combined they form a powerful thermal imaging package. FLIR Tools is both Windows and Mac compatible.

The superb image quality and thermal accuracy present users with minute temperature details invisible to the naked eye, making the FLIR E8 thermal imaging camera the perfect tool for both basic and complex applications.
