The FLIR TA72 Universal Flexible Current Probe Accessory is a brilliant way of adding flexibility and versatility to your existing clamp meter, regardless of brand. The flexible coil clamp can snake around wires in awkward, tight spaces and thus brings access to places beyond the reach of a traditional hard-jaw clamp meter. The TA72’s 25cm coil clamp is easy to thread and compact to store. Moreover, it allows the user to measure multiple conductors simultaneously as well as wires with limited clearance.

However, the flexible clamp is not the only useful feature of the TA72. The user has the choice of three ranges and resolutions for measuring AC current (30.00A, 300.0A, 3000A) which greatly increases the measurement range of most clamp meters. In addition, two bright white LED work lights help the user when inspecting the wiring in dark, crowded cabinets and, with two standard banana plugs, the TA72 is compatible with the majority of clamp meters, regardless of brand (see specifications for further details).
