A fully comprehensive and professional kit for combustion performance assessment, the Kane 456 Flue Gas Analyser CPA1 Kit is ideal for the installation and servicing of domestic oil or gas appliances, safety checks, monitoring CO in a room or around an appliance, combustion performance checks, combustion efficiency checks and flue draught testing.

Also known as the Kane 456 Combustion Performance Assessment Kit, the CPA1 Kit features the Kane ASP2 appliance carbon monoxide sampling probe kit, enabling the investigation of fumes and products of combustion from appliances such as cookers, grills and flueless appliances as described in BS7967. Each of these three probes can be fitted onto the hose/handle assembly using the compression fitting supplied and then connected to the flue gas analyser.

In addition to the ASP2, the Kane 456 Flue Gas Analyser CPA1 Kit adds a large carry case for easy transportation and a 12V charging adaptor, ensuring you can keep your tester charged in the field. It also contains the additional temperature probes, pressure hose, KAL1 air liquid temperature probe and a GLD/450 Plus combustible gas leak detector and KANE IRP-2 Infra-red printer included in the PRO kit.

The KANE456 itself is a straight-forward instrument - utilising a rotary dial control and user-friendly features such as a decreased countdown time and data hold - and is perfect for use with Natural Gas, Butane, Propane, LPG, wood pellets and more. Offering users the means to perform direct CO2 measurement (0-20%), Carbon Monoxide (0-2,000ppm) and differential temperature measurement, the Kane 456 is a high accuracy differential pressure meter (+/- 80mbar) with structured commission testing and more. Optional Bluetooth modules for communication with iOS and Android smart devices can be added for £55. These use Kane software and the Kane printer app to transfer print data dn other information.

Kane 456 / Kane 455 Differences

The Kane 456 extends on the specification of the popular Kane 455 Flue gas analyser, boasting the following new features:

• Structured commission tests: Simply select ‘Com Test’ on the rotary dial selector to rapidly conduct all of the tests required when commissioning a new boiler installation, rather than having to select and conduct each test individually.
• Decreased countdown time: The 456 also purges itself in fresh air quicker than previous models; 90 seconds from ‘cold switch on’, 60 seconds from ‘warm switch on’ and 30 seconds if the unit has been used within the last 10 minutes for at least 10 minutes.
