Suitable for measuring the resistance of circuit breaker contacts, electrical bus bars, element contacts and other high current HV applications, the Megger Mjonler 200 Micro-Ohmmeter is designed with safety, ease of use and versatility in mind.

The Mjolner 200 will output current between 5A and 200A in 1A steps. This allows very accurate, low resistance measurement values to be displayed and printed, avoiding inconsistency problems associated with low current testing. Remote testing is also an option with a remote control that is available to select from the options above.

MJÖLNER 200 can also display measurements using the DualGround method. This method requires the test object to be earthed on both sides throughout the test process, ultimately making for a faster and more stable test result. Please note that the DualGround current clamp is not supplied as standard and is available to select from the drop down list above.

Contained within a robust case, the Megger Mjölner 200 is ideal for use in harsh environments. With the case lid closed, the product can withstand ingress from water, dust and sand and can even float. Test results can be downloaded to a PC or laptop and reported using optional Mjölner Win PC software available from the options above.

Why test resistance at such a low value?

If the contact resistance on a high current electrical joint is too high, temperature rises and power loss are inevitable leading to a host of problems such as overheating joints and electrical equipment failure.
