Seaward IRT 1557 Insulation Resistance and Continuity Tester

The Seaward IRT 1557 Insulation Resistance and Continuity Tester is a lightweight, hand-held 17th Edition tester which is a superb addition to any test engineer's toolkit. It performs measurements that comply to BS 7671 17th Edition Wiring Regulations and Part P standards. Seaward's unique integrated safety probe puts the LCD and test probe in the user's line of sight whilst making measurements, no other tester does this. The IRT 1557 insulation and continuity tester offers a number of other unique testing features, including voltage measurements up to 1000AC or DC and a dual safety rating all of which can be adjusted with an easy to use rotary switch. The IRT 1557 will also automatically discharge capactive circuits and will give automatic warning of the presence of hazardous voltages. In an incredibly robust casing the Seaward IRT 1557 provides all the tests you need with a safe feel.
