Kewtech KTD40 Multifunction Loop Impedance Tester

The Kewtech KTD40 uses the latest in electronic design to produce a compact and multifunctional test instrument. It includes a full socket tester that will check for any 18 socket wiring conditions. It will also check for a hazardous reversal of live and neutral at the supply through a Polarity Test Pad. The fault is indicated by a chart on the face of the unit.  This KTD40 test instrument is also capable of measuring true loop impedance. The benefit of this is that it provides more relevant information when testing PSC/PFC because the resistance of the supplier's transformer is measured as well as the pure loop resistance.

The Kewtek KTD40 has an optional distribution loop test lead set meaning a high current, two wire test can be carried out either manually or using the auto-test function. Once a test has been conducted, the reading is displayed and the PFC or PSC can be shown instantly on the press of a second button.
