Seaward launched the world's first multi-function installation tester back in 1985, now the latest version the Seaward Powertest 1557 Installation Tester is safer, faster, lighter and easier to use.  The Seaward 1557 installation tester puts the measurement display and test button where they ought to be - in your line of sight with their unique cordless probe.  It allows you a free hand to hold your tester therefore you can view your results, as you’re testing. Also the PowerTest 1557 includes many of the previous innovations, such as automatic RCD testing, test lead compensation and a quick and accurate non-trip loop test with automatic PSC and PFC calculation. The Powertest 1557 can do any test that you require at the turn of a dial including earth continuity, insulation (100V, 250V, 500V), Non-trip loop impedance, line impedance, RCD trip line, RCD trip current  and voltage / frequency measurements.
