Extech EX840 1000A True RMS AC/DC Clamp Meter

The Extech EX840 1000A True RMS AC/DC Clamp Meter provides TRMS AC/DC Current & Voltage measurements upto 1000A and 1000V respectively and has a built in non-contact IR Thermometer with a laser pointer for locating hot spots up to 270°C. The Extech EX840 clamp on multimeter is also capable of measuring resistance, capacitance, frequency, diode and continuity. This ergonomically designed AC/DC clamp meter ensures accuracy by providing True RMS readings and is the perfect tool for HVACR and electrical professionals working on both commercial and industrial environments. The EX834 clampmeter has a jaw opening size of 43mm that will fit conductors up to 750MCM and has a CAT IV 600V and CAT III 1000V rating. In addition the Extech EX840 current clamp comes complete with a CAT IV test lead set and a professional 8-piece test lead set.
