Cropico CM5-N Decade Capacitance Box

The Cropico CM5-N is a five decade capacitance box that compliments the Cropico RM6-N range of resistance decades. The required capacitance can be set anywhere from 100pF up to 10µF with a 5% accuracy. The Cropico CM5N is the perfect addition to any laboratory. This capacitance compensation box is ideal for both industrial and educational use. A useful feature of this Cropico capacitance calibration box is that on the 10 x 100pF and 10 x 1nF decades, the residual capacitance is compensated for. This means that the actual capacitance value will appear at the terminals for a more accurate capacitance simulation. The capacitors of the CM5-N are made from a combintaion of polycarbonate and polystyrene with a minimum rating of 160V DC with a good dissipation factor and high insulation.
