With the Leica DISTO A6, measuring does not end with the display of the measured value on the screen. With the Integrated BLUETOOTH® technology the Disto A6 can transfer the data to a Pocket PC or PC/Laptop.The free issue software DISTO™ transfer which comes as standard with the leica disto A6 allows any measurement taken with the unit to be transferred directly into the program that you have open on you PC / Laptop or Pocket PC thus allowing error free entering of data into AutoCAD®, Word®, Excel® or any other program where data entry is required without the use of cables.
The software is a huge improvement over that offered with the DISTO Plus which required the program you wished to transfer the data into to be specifically designed to accept Bluetooth measurements. This prevented its use with programs such as AutoCAD®. The new application operates unnoticed in the background.Productivity is also increased with the use of the DISTO A6. On-site survey times are reduced by as much a 50% compared to traditional measurement techniques meaning that the cost of the tool is often re-couped within its first few projects. The Leica DISTO A6, having all the same functionality of the DISTO A5 coupled BLUETOOTH® Technology data transfer makes this tool the ideal solution for surveyors, architects or any other user who wishes to record error free measurements effortlessly at the touch of a button.
