The Megger MIT1020/2 HV 10kV insulation tester can test voltage in steps from 50 V DC to the maximum output voltage of 10kV, thus avoiding the expense of several HV insulation resistance testers. The Megger MIT1020/2 10kV insulation resistance tester is designed specifically to assist you with the electrical testing and maintenance of high voltage electrical equipment. The rugged case is made of  tough polypropylene and is easy to carry. This Megger 10kV insulation tester has a large easy to read backlit LCD display making it easily visible in low lit environments. The display shows test readings of  insulation resistance, voltage, leakage current, capacitance, battery status and time constant along with adjustable timers and test limit alarms. it really is a comprehensive and popular test instrument for all electrical engineers, power systems engineers, HV engineers, testing and commisioning engineers fro manufacturers, reapirers and installers.

This Megger 10kV insulation tester can test insulation resistance when being powered by the mains power supply or its internal rechargeable battery. The Megger MIT1020/2 test instrument is also fitted with a guard terminal to enhance insulation testing accuracy. The guard test lead is included as standard with the Megger MIT1020/2 10kV insulation tesing instrument. These IR instruments are designed to meet the highest safety standards and meets the requirements of EN61010. The AVO Megger  MIT1020 is suited to routine testing and diagnostic regimes being pre-programmed with IR, PI, DAR, SV and DD profiles. This tester is often known as a 10kV megohmmeters , 10kV megohmmeter , 10kV megger megohmmeter  or a 10kV megger megohmmeters.
