Clare HAL101 Electrical Safety Tester - AC/DC Hipot and DC Insulation Tester

The Clare HAL101 is an advanced electrical safety tester that offers AC/DC Hipot, Insulation and Ground Bond tests with on-board memory for storing results. The isolated floating test outputs make it one of the safest flash testers on the market. The HAL101 offers impressive automation techniques which can make dramatic improvements in productivity and efficiency during the production line test process. The user interface can be operated manually by the push of a button within laboratory, audit and product compliance environments. Through the use of an optional barcode scanner the full power of this unique instrument can be used to automate the test sequence for fast performance on the most demanding of production lines. The H101 can also be linked directly into most ISO quality systems. Traceability is an important aspect of any safety programme and the Clare H101 can collect up to 6000 test results internally which can be downloaded to a PC via the RS232 using optional software. The instrument also incorporates various input and output ports which allow the test to be mechanised when connected to a suitable safety enclosure or initiated from external controls.

The Clare HAL 101 flash tester offers outstanding flexibility, functionality and user safety. The clever design of this tester makes compliance, integration and traceability easy to achieve. A large, clear, full graphic display presents information either in a numerical or analogue format. Tests are started and stopped via the large buttons on the front or by choosing from a variety of pre-selected automated configurations including remote PCs, PLCs or interlocks. The advanced electronic design of the Clare HAL101 allows the operator to select either 50Hz or 60Hz hi-pot and ground testing. To enhance the quality of the testing process the HAL 101 also has features such as arc detection and the ability to set maximum and minimum thresholds.
