Extech 42509 IR Thermometer

The Extech 42509 Infrared Thermometer with Colour Alert is Extech's fastest and most accurate IR Thermometer. The Extech 42509 thermometer uses two laser pointers that converge with a 12:1 field of view (effectively allowing a 1 inch surface area to be measured from 12 inches away). This Infra-Red Thermometer is capable of measuring up to 510°C and displays results to a resolution of 0.1°C. An innovative alert system is employed when the measured temperature exceeds or drops below user defined MIN and MAX parameters. The display will flash blue if the MIN value is breached and it will flash red if the MAX value is surpassed, both of which will continue to flash until a satisfactory temperature is reached. The Extech 42509 IR Thermometer has adjustable emissivity from 0.10 to 1.00 so that measurement accuracy can be adjusted according to different surfaces. The fast and accurate nature of this thermometer means that it is ideal for processes that require regular temperature control and monitoring.
