The Flir P 660 IR Thermal camera is a fantastic choice for professional commercial thermographers throughout the UK. A feature rich camera, with a large target-distance to spot-size ratio for accurate measurements and analysis with a viewfinder and high resolution LCD for added flexibility in field operations. The FLIR TripleFusion takes infrared thermography to a new level by overlaying the rich detail of an infrared image over a hi-res visible light image in real-time, making it easier to identify critical problems more quickly and accurately. FLIR’s TripleFusion is fully scalable, permitting you to resize the thermal image as needed. An added advantage is the P660 allows the operator to record a full 30 seconds of digital voice that is automatically stored with each IR image, excellent for professional thermography surveys.

The built-in video light will allow you to capture clear visual images even in the darkest environments. This thermal imager has a large, bright 5.6” size foldable LCD screen which allows you to see the smallest of details and temperature differences. The ThermaCAM P660 offers point and shoot operation with a multi-angle handle that incorporates direct access buttons that can be programmed to suit your specific thermal imaging needs. Changes in temperature ranges, sensitivity, colour palettes and analysis tools can all be activated at the touch of a button. With two SD memory card slots available the P660 has the capacity to store thousands of images on removable SD cards. Radiometric 14-bit JPEG images are easily downloaded to a PC via a USB connection and non-radiometric MPEG video imagery can also be streamed to a PC.

In addition to these already fantastic features the P660 has an improved thermal sensitivity of 0.03°C (<30 mK) to offer the finest image details and temperature difference information. The Flir P-660 upto 8x continuous zoom including a pan function. Also available is the ability to record both radiometric and non-radiometric videos. The radiometric IR video can be recorded in real-time to the built-in RAM and is transferrable to a memory card. The non-radiometric IR video can be recorded to a memory card and streamed to a PC via either USB or Firewire.

This impressive P-series thermal imaging camera has built-in GPS which means location data is automatically added to every image taken. This function is ideal for maintenance in utilities, energy, telecom, mining and logistics that have to deal with inspection objects that are scattered over large areas. It can be used to direct inspection and field repair teams to the correct location. The contrast optimiser is a special feature that enhances details in contrast-rich infra-red images and allows the viewing of both the scanned object and its surroundings in great detail.

FLIR Quick Report allows users to organize and analyze the radiometric images from the P660 infra-red camera and present them in a report. The built-in report templates allow the user to generate a report with either two infrared images or one infra-red and one digital photo along with a description. Images can be emailed, and viewed in Microsoft Windows programs without the need for any additional software. The software offers adjustments in the level, span, zoom and pan of the camera and provides a choice of ten colour palettes. The Flir P 660 also includes an intelligent charging station capable of conditioning and charging two 3-hour batteries at a time. In addition you can plug the P660 thermal imager into an AC outlet or optional 12V cable and charge the battery while still in the camera.

Many IR surveys and some predictive maintenance surveys are conducted in high voltage areas. For safety reasons, conductive cabling cannot be used to remotely control cameras so for your safety the P660 can be operated with the optional handheld Wireless LAN remote control and display.
