KEWTECH KEWPROVE 3 - Proving Unit

Small and portable proving unit which outputs 690V AC/DC, using just two contact points for AC and DC voltages. This unit will enable you to verify your voltage testers and detectors on site.

How to use:
1.   Test your voltage detector on the proving unit, by placing the probes into the front terminals.
2.   The neon on the proving unit should light up and your voltage detector should indicate voltage.
3.   Test on the circuit to be tested
4.   Prove your voltage detector is still working by placing the probes into the front terminals again.
5.   The neon on the proving unit should light up and your voltage detector should indicate voltage.

Lead Continuity Test
If you are using fused test leads and your voltage detector does not indicate voltage when connected to your Kewprove, a fuse may have blown. The state of the fuse can be tested by plugging the test lead into the 4mm connector on the side and pressing the probe tip onto the metal stud on the front. A buzzer will sound indicating continuity.

The KEWPROVE Proving unit puts out a hazardous voltage and must only be used by a qualified person and in accordance with the manufacturers instruction supplied with the unit.
