The Seaward Supernova Elite PAT tester is a dual voltage PAT Tester, it can be powered from both a 230V supply or 110V supply as found on building sites and in industrial areas. As the industry standard PAT tester for testing within a rugged working environment the Seaward Supernova Elite is well known for its robust build with a fold out QWERTY keyboard. The Seaward Supernova Elite is also the only PAT tester available with a 110V power transformer inbuilt which means that it conducts all tests (including those requiring mains power operation) while powered from either a 230V or 110V supply.
Appliance information is easily entered using the QWERTY keyboard and help screens are available for less experienced users using the "Novice Mode". All information is stored on the Supernova and can be downloaded into Seaward PATGuard Elite 3 Software where reports can be generated and reminders set when re-testing is due. 

Using Seaward PATGuard Elite 3 users can also upload appliance information from the software back onto the upload memory of the Supernova Elite PAT tester. Using this feature in conjunction with the Desk Test n' Tag Printing and Barcode printing system. This helps speed up re-testing appliances by scanning the barcode previously applied which recognises the appliance information and allows a quicker re-test.

The Seaward Supernova Elite carries out the following tests: Earth Continuity (100mA, 4A, 10A or 25A), Insulation Resistance Testing (250/500V), Earth Leakage Testing, Protective Conductor Current Testing, RCD Trip Time Testing, Flash Testing (1.5kV/3kV), Substitute Leakage Testing, Load Testing and a Polarity Test.
