Amprobe Telaris ProInstall 75 Multifunction Tester

The Amprobe Telaris ProInstall 75 Multifunction Tester offers the user numerous testing functions including voltage/frequency measurement, Riso insulation, Rlo continuity, no-trip loop and line testing, hi-current loop and line testing, RCD trip time testing, PFC/PSC tests, RCD trip current testing and phase rotation testing. All tests are performed to a high degree of accuracy and allow the user to test electrical installations to IEC 60364, HD 384, and BS7671 17th Edition wiring regulations in domestic, commercial and industrial environments.

Voltage can be measured from 0 to 500V AC RMS whilst continuity can be tested up to 2000Ω with test currents between 210mA and 2mA. Various test voltages (50V, 100V, 250V, 500V, 1000V) can be used to measure Riso insulation resistance up to 1000MΩ. Loop and line impedance measurement can be set to either trip or not to trip RCDs and both trip time and current can be measured with a ramp test.

Results are displayed on the Amprobe ProInstall 75’s backlit LCD display which shows numeric values for all the test functions plus a useful PASS/FAIL indication for system safety. A zeroing function compensates for test lead resistance and the test function is selected via clearly-labelled rotary dial. Ranges, resolution and other variables can be managed through the simple navigation buttons.

The Amprobe ProInstall 75 has numerous safety features to help prevent accidents. Auto discharge safely removes capacitive charge and the tester automatically senses if a circuit is live and therefore inhibits the test. A further connection check is also performed and the user can choose between a 50V or 25V safety voltage level. The unit is protected by a rubber boot and can be hung from the neck strap provided. Other supplied accessories include test probes, test leads, crocodile clips, a remote probe, a zero adaptor and a carry case.
