Castle Class 1 Industrial Risk Assessment/Environmental Sound System

The Castle Class 1 Industrial Risk Assessment/Environmental Sound System uses the high-tech Castle GA6224 Class 1 Sound Level Meter plus useful accessories including a calibrator, barometer, and data management software package. The Castle GA6224 can measure sound levels between 27dB and 130dB over six separate ranges with Class 1 level accuracy and a precision of 0.1dB.

A wide frequency range of 20Hz to 20kHz allows the Castle GA6224 to capture sound across the human hearing spectrum whilst the choice of A, C or Flat frequency provides the user with greater choice. Several different measurement parameters can be assessed including Leq, Lmax, personal exposure, peak noise and percentile measurement which is ideal for environmental monitoring.

The Castle GA6224 has a large internal memory with enough room for 10,000 separate data points. Information can be recalled to the screen in a graphical format or downloaded to a PC using the RS232 cable. Data management software and an interface cable are supplied as standard thus facilitating data transfer and allowing further analysis and reporting.

A Castle GA607 Class 1 Sound Level Calibrator is included as standard with the kit in order to ensure the accuracy of the sound level meter. The calibrator produces 1kHz tones at 94dB and 104dB so the meter can be checked out two points in its range. The system’s Castle GA690 Electronic Barometer can measure between 0 and 1300mbar which allows the user to adjust for atmospheric pressure.

All the components of the Castle Class 1 Risk System are supplied in a handy carry case which both stores and protects its contents. The system constitutes an excellent option for handheld monitoring.
