Castle Datalogging Personal Noise Dosemeter Kit

The Castle Datalogging Personal Dosemeter Kit features one or five Castle GA257L Datalogging Personal Dosemeters plus a handy calibrator, noise analysis software and carry case. The Castle GA257L measures sound level pressure (Lp), average sound level (Leq), peak noise, and personal noise dose. Dual channel measurement allows the user to measure two things simultaneously and the Class 2 microphone can measure sound from 70dB to 140dB at frequencies between 20Hz and 8kHz.

The Castle GA257L has an eight-digit single-line display which shows readings in % dose, dose per hour, dB, or Pa2h. Up to 2100 readings can be saved to the dosemeter’s internal memory and these can be downloaded to a PC using the cable and software provided in the kit. In addition to facilitating data transfers, the dBdataPRO noise analysis software package allows the user to analyse and report on his/her findings.

The Castle GA601 Class 2 Sound Level Calibrator in the kit supplies a 94dB tone a 1kHz which allows the user to check the accuracy of readings from the dosemeter by inserting the microphone into the cavity.

A carry case is included for all the different components of the dosemeter kit. The small kit comes with an attaché case for a single dosemeter whilst the larger kit has a full-sized carry case.
