    Chauvin Arnoux CA1110 LED/Light Lux Meter

    The Chauvin Arnoux CA1110 Light Meter measures light levels from 0.1 to 200,000Lux with a maximum resolution of 0.1Lux and a best accuracy of ±3%. It measures LED and fluorescent light sources in accordance with Class C of the NFC 42-710 standard and has a CIE spectral correction and incidence correction facility for measuring light from these sources. Measurements are taken via a detachable light sensor which helps prevent the operator from shading the sensor. Otherwise, the sensor will also work when attached for one-handed use.

    Results are shown on the Chauvin Arnoux CA1110’s backlit digital display and the meter can show minimum, maximum and average readings whilst a data hold function can freeze a reading on screen. There is also a MAP function which helps the user map illuminance throughout a room.

    The internal memory can save up to 1 million readings and these can then be downloaded using the USB connectivity or wireless Bluetooth interface. The memory has options or both spot and programmed recording with a set measurement rate. Chauvin Arnoux Data Logger Transfer software is available as a free download and this facilitates data transfer, remote display, and automatic report generation in a range of formats.

    The casing of the Chauvin Arnoux CA1110 is IP50-rated and it has dimensions of 150mm x 72mm x 32mm. The light meter has a 500-hour battery life in portable mode and enough memory capacity for three years (with 15-minute measurement intervals). Chauvin Arnoux provide a two-year manufacturer’s warranty.
