The Chauvin Arnoux CA6250 10A Micro Ohmmeter features a wide resistance measurement range of 1µΩ to 2500Ω using the four-wire measurement method. There are seven test ranges including three with a maximum 10A current and the resolution is just 0.1µΩ so the ohmmeter is incredibly precise. Accuracy stands at a basic 0.05% and is further aided by automatic compensation for rogue voltages at the inputs.

Three measurement modes allow the Chauvin Arnouc CA6250 to be used across a range of applications. Inductive mode is suited for taking resistance readings on inductive components whilst non-inductive mode is designed for use on resistances with small time constants (contacts, metallisation etc.). Auto non-inductive mode is suitable for resistances with no time constant.

Advanced functions on the Chauvin Arnoux CA6250 include temperature compensation which automatically compensates for ambient temperature in order to produce a consistent reading. Programmable alarms indicate when resistance is too high or too low, thus speeding up the test process, and the internal memory has enough space for up to 1500 measurements.

Results are shown on the Chauvin Arnoux CA6250’s backlit LCD screen and it is also possible to print readings on a standard printer directly from the instrument’s memory. The rechargeable battery will allow roughly 5000 measurements and the casing is very sturdy with an IP64 rating (when closed). Chauvin Arnoux provide a 12-month manufacturer’s warranty as standard.
