Chauvin Arnoux F403 True RMS Clamp Meter

The Chauvin Arnoux F403 True RMS Clamp Meter has a sizeable 48mm clamp through which it can measure both AC and DC current up to a maximum of 1500A (1000A for AC). Other measurement parameters include AC/DC voltage, temperature, frequency and resistance whilst the meter can also be employed for continuity and diode testing. Each parameter has a sizeable range and the instrument also offers Inrush current measurement for single and multiple motors. Inspections are facilitated through handy automatic detection of current type and automatic range selection.

The built-in measurement functions of the Chauvin Arnoux F403 are supplemented by its ability to work as an adaptor for a range of compatible probes. Readings from any connected probe are clearly displayed on the clamp meter’s screen. Min/max recording, relative display and differential calculations all aid analysis of measurement parameters.

It is very easy to use the Chauvin Arnoux F403 with just one hand, even when wearing protective gloves, thanks to features such as a grooved dial and simple push buttons. The tough body of the meter allows it withstand a fall of up to 2m and its ingress protection meets IP54 standard. Cat III and Cat IV certification up to 1000V means that the F403 is safe to use as well as easy. It comes with a three-year warranty as well as several accessories to aid testing and assessments.
