Chauvin Arnoux F62 Earth Leakage Current Clamp

The Chauvin Arnoux F62 Earth Leakage Current Clamp complies with VDE 0404 and is ideal for measuring leakage current from isolation faults and RCD trips caused by phase-phase and phase-earth imbalances. The 28mm jaw can measure AC current from 60mA to 100A with a high degree of accuracy and the clamp has other functions to help measure leakage current precisely and reliably. The resolution is just 10µA and there is high immunity to eddy currents (70 dB) which helps negate interference from other conductors. Furthermore, an anti-harmonic filter allows enhanced detection on more complex systems.

Aside from measuring leakage current, the Chauvin Arnoux F62 also acts as a traditional clamp-on multimeter. In addition to measuring AC current, the meter takes readings for AC/DC voltage (600V), resistance (1kΩ), and frequency (1kHz). Continuity testing is another important function.

Results are shown on the backlit LCD screen which has a zero function and hold button. Differential measurement allows the user to compare relative values whilst maximum values are also recorded by the display memory. The measurement function is easily selected through a clearly labelled dial and the Chauvin Arnoux F62 is light and ergonomic.

Test leads, test probes, batteries and a carry bag are provided with the Chauvin Arnoux F62 and it is safety-rated as Cat III 300V.
