Cordex MONITIR MN4100 Intrinsically Safe Industrial Automation Thermal Imager

The Cordex MN4100 Industrial Automation Thermal Imager has an 80 x 60 pixel infrared thermal sensor which can measure surface temperature from -10˚C to 120˚C. The field of view is of 63˚ and the accuracy is ±2˚C or ±2%. These capabilities make the imager suitable for diverse applications across the plant automation, security, home automation and marine sectors.

Prewritten PLC function blocks - compatible with Mitsubishi, Allen-Bradley, Siemens and Omron - allow the Cordex MN4100 to fit seamlessly into the processing system of a plant and the remote communication via Modbus Ethernet means that the user can remotely monitor heat patterns. Potential problems are therefore detected early without the need for expensive manual inspections. The thermal image is updated once every second for truly comprehensive monitoring and alarms warn of anomalous temperatures.

In addition to an advanced thermal sensor, the Cordex MN4100 also has an integrated digital camera and LED torch. These allow the user to remotely view the physical state of a target system, thereby observing any visible deterioration alongside indications related to thermal patterns.

Installing the Cordex MN4100 is very simple thanks to its compact design. The entire camera unit measures just 120mm x 70mm x 70mm so it is able to sit unobtrusively in the corner of a structure in order to observe machinery. The M6x4 boss on the base of the camera allows it to sit happily on an existing bracket or on an optional Cordex mounting arm. It is also simple to set up all the connections once the imager is in the correct position.

The Cordex MN4100 is intrinsically safe and certified as suitable for use in ATEX environments. It meets all infrared monitoring needs across a range of industries and combines practicality with sophisticated technology.
