The Digitron 3208IS Intrinsically Safe Digital Thermometer is capable of measuring temperature from -50˚C to 950˚C over two separate ranges (-50˚C to 199.9˚C; -50˚C to 950˚C). It has a best accuracy of ±0.2% + 0.5˚C and a maximum resolution of 0.1˚C. As an intrinsically safe thermometer, the Digitron 3208IS is certified for ATEX environments by BASEEFA and classified as EEx ia IIC T4.

Readings are taken via a supplied Digitron K0234SDI General Purpose type K temperature probe. It has a maximum temperature reading of 1000˚C and a 300mm stainless steel probe shaft. The type K connection is suitable for a wide range of different thermometers and it is attached to the thermometer via a 3m cable.

The Digitron 3208IS has a clear LCD screen with automatic legend display that clearly displays readings. Operation is conducted via a simple push button interface and it is extremely useful for tough environments as it has sturdy IP64-rated casing.
