Q: How do I get a earth reading at the mains with this tester Posted On: 10/11/2013 By: Paul Branniff
A: Hello, thank you for your question. The Dilog Combivolt 2 is primarily a tool used for voltage detection across two poles, i.e, between Line and Neutral, Line and CPC, or CPC and Neutral. You can detect the presence of an 'earth', by testing between Line and CPC. Without further clarification to your question, you may need an earth loop impedance tester, which will display an impedance measurement in Ohms.

Since buying the Combivolt 2 a few weeks ago, I have been very impressed, and would fully recommend this instrument to anyone.-Michael

The Dilog Combi Volt 2 I bought from your company is even better than I thought. I was on a job the other night on a factory shutdown and both the torch function and the three phase rotation feature helped me get out of tricky situation fast. It's much more than a continuity and voltage tester!- 5 star recommendation, Steve

Since I bought the Combivolt 2 a few weeks ago, me and my boss have been using it on and off and have been very impressed. He now wants all 6 of the other techies to use them, so you'll be getting another order on Monday - Thanks again for your recommendation - Ralph
