The DiLOG DL6518 Earth Leakage Current Clamp Meter is capable of precise earth leakage current measurement, suitable for finding low earth leakage current that could be responsible for nuisance tripping on RCDs.

The 18th edition wiring regulations state that the combined leakage during normal operation should not exceed 30% of an RCD operating current, meaning that standard 30mA RCDs require leakage current of no more than 9mA. The DiLOG DL6518 is suitable for assessing this aspect of installations.

The DiLOG DL6518 has an AC current measuring range of 0 to 200A with accuracy of ±2.5% + 8 digits which makes it suitable for some general applications as well as leakage current measurement. Up to 200mA, the clamp meter produces readings with a resolution of 100µA, ideal for detecting low currents.

Measurements are taken via the DiLOG DL6518’s 30mm moveable jaw opening and readings are displayed on its clear digital screen. Max reading and display hold functions are available whilst operation is carried out using a clear dial for manual ranging and two simple buttons for display functionality. The DiLOG DL6518 has an overvoltage category rating of Cat II 600V and is covered by a two-year warranty.
