The Drummond MTL15 Test Lamp is a professional voltage detection instrument that can detect voltages up to 1000V DC/AC, offering nominal voltage indications at 50V, 230V, 400V, and 690V AC/DC RMS via a very clear LED bar graph, easily legible from 360˚. The lamp can be used for all supply-side applications thanks to a Cat IV 1000V rating according to BS EN 61010 and it also meets HSE (GS38) guidelines.

A finger shield and insulated probe tip help protect the fingers from potentially hazardous live conductors and general dual-layered insulation with a white inner layer that highlights any damage. The Drummond MTL15 runs totally from the conductor under test and therefore requires no batteries.

The Drummond MTL15 comes supplied with six interchangeable test probes including both interchangeable and right-angled test probes. The lamp is ideal for use with high-power applications such as proving dead in wind turbines installations, energy intensive process industries, high-power variable speed drives and UPS systems.
