Eco-Eye Smart Electricity Monitor

Please note this product has been discontinued

The Eco-Eye Smart Electricity Monitor can be used on domestic and commercial single-phase electrical installations. The large, clear screen shows a single figure in terms of kW, costs, CO2 and amps, and can even show usage as a percentage of the daily target pre-set by the user. There is a resettable ‘counter’ mode that allows the user to target specific periods of time.

A ‘traffic light’ set of LEDs on the Eco-Eye Smart shows when the monitor is under load and whether this load is compliant with the rules set out by the user. It has an update rate of once every four seconds – that’s 20,000 readings per day – so assessment has a high resolution.

The Eco-Eye Smart is a battery-powered model that allows the user to move it around premises in order to specifically target areas of concern. It maintains a four-second refresh rate and can operate from its batteries for two years. However, an AC adaptor is also provided to work from the mains.

Information can be transmitted in real time from the Eco-Eye Smart to a PC via a USB cable or saved to an MMC card, capable of storing up to 10 years’ worth of data. Readings can be analysed in detail using free ‘Trax’ software.
