These paired cameras seamlessly combine to add visible light elements to any 80x60 pixel thermal capture, producing imagery featuring both extreme clarity and an impressive, but easy-to-understand, level of detail.

Possessing a unique coaxial laser, yet another of the IRC130's outstanding features, distance-to-target measuring is enabled at a notable 30:1 ratio. Utilise this laser to pinpoint definitive hot or cold spots and comfortably locate those troublesome areas which may indicate potential issues. Concerning infrared radiation measurement, for an accurate reading the emissivity of any sensor must match that of the surface being inspected. This is not a problem for the practical IRC130, which enjoys an incorporated adjustable emissivity setting. The exceedingly fast 150ms response time of the thermometer allows for real-time temperature updates without the need for inconvenient continuous scanning.

Capable of displaying high-contrast, clear and bright colour pixels, the large 2.4 inch TFT display of the Extech IRC130 imparts dynamic imagery beneficial to the operator. The intuitive, easy-to-navigate menus, displayed across the 320 x 240 pixel screen, are available in 22 languages. Furthering the functional features of this formidable instrument, up to 50,000 MSX thermal and visual images can be captured and stored in a JPG format.
