Extech RD200 Refrigerant Leak Detector

Please note that this product has now been discontinued, replaced by the Extech RD300 Refrigerant Leakage Detector.

The Extech RD200 Refrigerant Leak Detector can detect chemical refrigerants via its heated diode sensor. These include most common substances including SF6, HFC, CFC, HCFC refrigerants, halogen gas, ethylene, tetrafluoroethylene, trichloroethylene, and other halogen-based compounds.

A replaceable sensor is positioned at the end of the Extech RD200’s 50cm flexible gooseneck and it can detect concentrations at two different sensitivities. The low-sensitivity option has will detect concentrations of ≥30g per year whilst the high-sensitivity option will detect concentrations of ≥6g per year.

The level of concentrations if indicated by a clear LED display according to ‘traffic light’ principles and the Extech RD200 also has an audible warning if it detects dangerous levels of refrigerants. Operation is conducted using just three buttons.

A leak test bottle allows the user to test the Extech RD200 in the field and it is also supplied with a sensor, battery, and hard carry case. It is covered by a one-year warranty.
