The Extech RH490 Precision Thermohygrometer is capable of measuring humidity in terms of both a percentage and grains per pound or grams per kilogram. It has a relative humidity measurement range of 0 to 100% RH – with ±2% RH accuracy – and an absolute humidity (water vapour) measurement range of 0 to 160g/kg.

Alongside humidity measurements, the Extech RH490 also measures air temperature from -30˚C to 100˚C which enables calculations of dew point (-30˚C to 100˚C) and wet bulb (0˚C to 80˚C).

The Extech RH490 has a dual digital display that shows humidity readings alongside temperature, dew point and wet bulb values. Min/max readings can be recalled to the screen and a data hold function helps freeze a reading when it is fluctuating rapidly.

The slim, compact design of the Extech RH490 makes it easy to handle and use. It comes supplied with a carry case and battery and is covered by a one-year warranty.
