The Extech VB450 Vibration Meter is capable of measuring peak acceleration from 0.1 to 199.9m/s², RMS velocity from 0.1 to 199.9mm/s, and peak-to-peak displacement from 1 to 1999µm. It has resolutions of 0.1m/s², 0.1mm and 1µm respectively with a basic accuracy of ±(5% + 1 digit). It has a frequency range of 10Hz to 1500Hz.

These measurement functions make the Extech VB450 suitable for preventing misalignment, poor balancing, structural compromises, and other problems by detecting the vibration they cause early. Measurements are taken via a remote vibration sensor which has a magnetic adaptor and is attached via a 0.2m coiled cable.

Readings are shown on the Extech VB450’s one-line digital display and there is an automatic data hold function that freezes the reading on screen when the measurement button is released. The vibration meter is covered by a one-year warranty and is supplied with a remote sensor, magnetic mount, 9V battery, wrist strap and soft carry case.
