The FLIR CM82 True RMS 600A Power Clamp Meter is a highly accurate and reliable industrial-grade clamp meter for professional electrical trouble shooters. The CM82 makes use of variable frequency drive (VFD) filtering functions to help discover issues and improve accuracy when working on VFD-controlled machinery whilst the advanced power efficiency and harmonics measurements provide a clear picture for analysing system performance. Furthermore, the product features True RMS voltage and current evaluation while a non-contact voltage detector saves time and improves safety. With measurement ranges up to 600A AC/DC and 1000V AC/DC, the CM82 is suitable for all manner of industrial checks and can accurately evaluate several different electrical variables. The user also benefits from the adaptability of the device which features min/max/avg readings as well as peak/data/realtive hold.

The CM82’s Inrush mode captures spikes in AC current during start-up phases to ensure reliable performance. Moreover, FLIR’s habitual excellent build quality means that the device can withstand a fall of 2m. Phase rotation testing guarantees that the motor and power source are aligned, further improving dependability and allowing the measurement of three-phase power systems and verification of power draw and distribution.
