FLIR E4 Thermal Imaging Camera
The FLIR E4 is an entry-level thermal camera at an extremely affordable price that delivers on both thermal image quality and features. Requiring no prior thermal camera knowledge or experience, the FLIR E4 is the ideal choice for first times users. Simple point and shoot operation is all that is needed to gain a real-time thermal image. A brilliant and cost effective fault finding tool!
With 80 x 60 pixel resolution it is capable of measuring 4800 temperature spots and convert these into a thermal image, while the built-in digital camera will capture a digital image simultaneously as storing the thermal image. This can be used to provide a visual reference next to the thermal image.
The 45 degree fixed lens provides a greater field of view which allows larger areas to be inspected from shorter distances. This improved field of view is perfect for scenarios when there isn’t enough room to step back and see the whole picture, allowing users to get much closer to a target without losing anything from the image.
The FLIR E4 thermal imaging camera is also equipped with FLIR’s patented MSX technology, previously only available on much more expensive cameras. This uniqie feature adds visual definition to your thermal images through a fusion of digital image detail overlayed onto the infrared image (see additional image thumbnails for examples).
The FLIR E4 comes supplied in a robust carry case complete with charger, calibration certificate and a download lead. The camera is also supplied with FLIR's Tools Software used for post analysis of your images. Users can add temperature measurements to the thermal image retrospectively in the software, add notes, create and customise professional reports. The quality of the software goes hand in hand with the quality of the camera and combined they form a powerful thermal imaging package. FLIR Tools is both Windows and Mac compatible.
With the improved image resolution, the increased versatility provided by the wide angle lens and the inclusion of advanced MSX imaging, the FLIR E4 is by far the best low cost thermal camera available today. Ideal for general electrical, heating and plumbing inspections.
80 x 60 pixel resolution
The FLIR E4 image resolution is 80 x 60 pixels, allowing a range of valuable thermal information to be displayed to isolate faults.
Temperature Range & Accuracy
Detects 0.15°C temperature differences from -20 to 250°C with 2% accuracy.
Built-in Digital Camera
Visible light camera captures images for comparison and quicker fault location on thermal images.
Multi Spectral Dynamic Imaging (MSX)
New feature that overlays a digital image onto thermal image and thus providing greater visual detail.
Easy access gallery allows users to quickly review captured infrared imagery.

Its reasonably easy to use, after playing with it for a while, and gives a really good indicator of hot spots in our electrical panels which usually means loose connection or damaged items.
Allows us to sort the problem out before a breakdown and therefore limits downtime, which keeps the factory manager happy
