FLIR E75 Thermal Imaging Camera for Building

This product has been discontinued, it has been replaced by the FLIR E76 Advanced Thermal Imaging Camera.

The FLIR E75 Thermal Imaging Camera for Building is a highly sophisticated thermal camera that helps the user locate abnormalities in buildings and document any issues quickly and easily. The 320 x 240 pixel thermal sensor measures surface temperature from -20˚C to 650˚C (±2˚C accuracy) with a thermal sensitivity of 30mK which means that differences of just 0.03˚C are shown on the 4” touch screen. Such impressive measurement capabilities allow the E75 camera to detect differences in both surface and air temperature, thus revealing hidden air and moisture leaks. The capacity to take both still images and videos helps with diagnosis and troubleshooting.

A range of colour palettes are available and MSX® adds perspective to images using the device’s in-built 5.0-megapixel digital camera as well as providing edge detail on windows and doors. The user therefore benefits from a very clear image. With a maximum field of view of 42˚, the FLIR E75 can provide an instant temperature overview of a large area although 24˚ and 14˚ lenses are available so it can also be used for more in-depth inspections of smaller target areas. An exact temperature reading is provided alongside the thermal image on screen and various alarms can be set to immediately indicate anomalies or problems.

The FLIR E75 is very easy to use as it is light, ergonomic and has a 2.5-hour battery life. Automatic focus through laser guidance simplifies operation whilst manual focus provides flexibility for finer adjustments. A supplied 8GB micro-SD card has room for thousands of images and videos and the excellent build quality - including the tough Dragontail cover glass - allows it to withstand the knocks of regular field use.

Recording problems are made very easy by the FLIR E75 as it can communicate via wi-fi to mobile devices and even connects to FLIR moisture meters through METERLINK®. Once images are downloaded, they can be enhanced using UltraMax and added to reports using FLIR Thermal Studio Suite software to simplify audits and insurance claims, for example. Voice annotations can be added to files on the FLIR E75 so that real-time observations are seamlessly captured and noted without having to pause filming.

Overall, the FLIR E75 provides excellent troubleshooting capabilities for air and moisture leaks in buildings via downloadable still and moving thermal images. It is supplied with all necessary accessories including an SD card, batteries and a Torx screwdriver.
