The FLIR E8 Wifi Thermal Imaging Camera is a sophisticated instrument that stands out for its powerful thermal imaging capabilities and intuitive operation.

High thermal resolution (320 x 240 pixel) provides an extremely clear thermal image, particularly as the high thermal sensitivity (60mK) detects temperature differences of just 0.06˚C These capabilities make the FLIR E8 Wifi useful in a range of industries and it can even be used for certain veterinary purposes. The large 45˚ field of view aids building inspections by allowing the user to capture a large area at once, thus saving time.

Three measurement modes, a centre spot, a Min/Max box, isotherms and hot/cold spots all add greater detail and depth to inspections undertaken with the FLIR E8 Wifi.

An integrated digital camera takes photographs to go alongside the thermograph files from the thermal sensor which enables easier analysis. Furthermore, the FLIR E8 Wifi also boasts MSX® image enhancement which uses the visible-light image to add detail and perspective to the thermal display.

As the name suggests, the FLIR E8 Wifi can communicate files wirelessly to smart devices over a local wifi signal thus saving time and smoothing the inspection process. Once an image has been uploaded to a smartphone or tablet, it can be edited and put into a report using FLIR Tools Software for Windows and Macs.
