Designed for outdoor activities such as camping, hiking and hunting, the Teledyne FLIR Scout III Wildlife 320 Thermal Camera is a compact, rugged instrument that offers the user enhanced day and night vision.

The FLIR Scout III 320 can detect heat patterns given out by machines, human beings and animals via its 336 x 256 pixel thermal sensor which gives high-resolution images in greyscale, InstAlert highlighting and ‘graded fire’ palettes. These capabilities give the camera a 550m range and a thermal sensitivity of 0.05˚C.

The 17˚ x 13˚ field of view and 19mm fixed focus lens provide a sharp image over the FLIR Scout III 320 on the 640 x 480 pixel monocular LCD display. A 60Hz refresh rate provides a real-time thermal image and the user can use the 2x zoom function to focus in on an area.

An NTSC composite video output allows the user to record thermal video to a monitor or recording device for later investigation.

The FLIR Scout III 320 has a quick start-up process which eliminates the need for keeping the camera on standby, thus helping preserve the 5-hour battery life. The thermal camera is extremely easy to use, even for novices, and is robustly built to stand up to challenges of use out in the field.

The FLIR Scout III 320 has an IP67 rating and comes supplied with a wrist strap, USB charger and MOLLE bag.
