FLIR Scout TK Wildlife Thermal Camera

The FLIR Scout TK Wildlife Thermal Camera is a monocular thermal imager designed for applications in hunting, hiking and general outdoor exploration. It enhances the user’s vision during the day and night thanks to its 160 x 120 pixel thermal sensor which can detect heat from humans and animals from a distance of up to 90m.

Live thermal video with a 9Hz refresh rate is shown across the 640 x 480 pixel LCD display which has a 20˚ x 16˚ field of view and multiple colour palettes. The FLIR Scout TK’s intuitive operation allows the user to adjust the settings to his/her preference and it can even save multiple still images or videos for later investigation. Images and video can be downloaded via the supplied USB cable.

Several adaptations make the FLIR Scout TK perfect for use outdoors. It has an IP67 ingress protection rating which means it is completely submersible and the rechargeable battery lasts for five hours so it is perfect for use when there is no access to electricity. It has been drop-tested for a 2m fall and weighs just 170g with dimensions of 6” x 2” x 2” so it takes up virtually no space in a rucksack.
