FLIR VS70-6 Stainless Steel Engine Inspection Borescope Kit

The FLIR VS70-6 Stainless Steel Engine Inspection Borescope Kit gives the user a great view inside engine workings, thus allowing problem diagnoses and close inspection. It consists of a sturdy monitor unit, a stainless steel 12-inch camera probe and several other useful accessories.

The 640 x 480 pixel screen on the FLIR VS70 monitor unit is ideal for borescope inspections as it allows the user to view images in high definition with a full-colour spectrum. It is even possible to control factors such as field of view using the intuitive push-button interface. The double-moulded rubber casing protects the monitor from the challenging conditions associated with borescope inspections, notably providing an IP67 ingress protection rating.

The monitor unit is compatible with removable SD cards thus allowing the user to save images and video from inspections. Additionally, it is also possible to add voice annotations to recorded video which means that the user can make a note of any observations at the time. Data transfer can be carried out via the USB port or by removing the SD card and the USB port is also used for charging the monitor.

The 12-inch stainless steel camera probe contained within the FLIR VS70-6 is ideal for looking around inside engines. It has a 6.5mm camera head which has a 56˚ field of view and a macro lens which can focus on objects from 20mm to 60mm away. It is easy to manoeuvre the probe thanks to the ergonomic handle.

The FLIR VS70-6 Kit contains a set of useful standard accessories that supplement the camera probe and monitor unit. Firstly, a 4GB SD card can be used to save images and video whilst the supplied audio headset is ideal for adding voice annotations. Additionally, there is a USB cable, video cable, shoulder strap and carry case.
