Fluke 353 True RMS 2000A AC/DC Clamp Meter

With a 58mm jaw opening, the Fluke 353 True RMS AC/DC Clamp Meter is a great tool for measuring AC/DC current in large cables - or even multiple cables simultaneously - from 0 to 2000A. There is also True RMS AC current measurement up to 1400A to help safeguard accuracy whilst the device can display frequency and the min/max/avg readings at the push of a button. Furthermore, the Inrush current function can measure current during instrument start-up phases. The low-pass filter allows detailed inspection of VFD motors and a simple push button enables the useful DC current zero function.

The Fluke 353 features several practical features in addition to its large jaw and simple dial operation. Firstly, automatic ranging quickly finds the optimum range and resolution for a parameter but the user can also manually override this as required. Results can be frozen with display hold on the bright, backlit screen and the user can have confidence when using the instrument thanks to its Cat IV 600V and Cat III 1000V safety ratings. Finally, the device is drop-tested to 1m so it is nice and sturdy for use in the field.
