Fluke T5-600 Continuity, Current and Voltage Tester

The popular Fluke T5-600 Continuity, Current and Voltage Tester can accurately measure AC/DC voltage up to 600V and AC current up to 100A. This tester can also carry out resistance measurement up to 1000Ω, in addition to performing continuity testing on cables and circuits. Continuity testing has an audible alarm when resistances fall between 25Ω and 400Ω, with an LED signal indicates voltage presence, and all other results are displayed on the clear digital screen which also features data hold. Automatic voltage detection allows the tester to measure either AC or DC voltage without user input.

Thanks to the lightweight and slim shape, the Fluke T5-600 is easy to operate and this extends to the 12.9mm open jaw clamp which simply fits around a wire to measure the current flowing in the circuit. The hardy design means that the device can absorb a fall of up to 3m. A simple dial is used to select the measurement parameters.

Storage is made easier because the test leads fit into two grooves in the back of the T5-600 whilst there is choice of easily exchangeable probes. The 4mm probes have a safety rating of Cat IV to 600V and Cat III to 1000V whereas the instrument itself is rated as Cat III to 600V. The Fluke T5-600’s batteries last up to 400 hours (depending on battery type) and the device automatically powers-off in order to save the battery. Overall, it is a well-built, accurate instrument with handy, time-saving features like the fixed jaw and the automatic AC/DC voltage detection.
