The Huatec TG-8812 Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge measures thickness & corrosion in pressure vessels, chemical containers, boilers, storage tanks and more in the oil, manufacturing and power generation sectors. This high-precision instrument uses an ultrasonic measurement principle, feeding ultrasonic sound waves into the material via a transmitter probe and measuring the time of the echo to obtain an accurate thickness measurement. This compact gauge adopts a high-speed processor & integrated chip design to realise nondestructive, portable measurements of thickness and sound velocity in a multitude of materials.

With a high measurement accuracy and wide measurement range, the Huatec TG-8812 includes separate modes (dependant on model) and optional automatic shutdown. The convenient and simple characteristics of this Thickness Gauge include a large capacity humanised data storage mode capable of mass storage which can save data in incremental groups.

Featuring a 2.3 inch colour screen, the easy to carry TG-8812 Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge is suitable for on-site inspections. The backlit LCD display is combined with a simple push-button interface and easy calibration options. The instrument is supplied with an ultrasonic probe / transducer, glycerin bottle and carry case.

Different Models Available

The four different models of the Huatec TG-8812 Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge include several notable differences, for example the TG-8812L and TG-8812D both feature an interconnection data transmission function. The TG-8812L has an option for an Ultra-thin mode for high-precision large range measurements whilst the TG-8812D has a built-in Penetration mode (Echo-Echo) for special penetrating types. Huatec TG-8812 Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge

The Huatec TG-8812 Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge measures thickness and corrosion in pressure vessels, chemical containers, boilers, storage tanks and more in the oil, manufacturing and power generation sectors. It can measure the thickness of any hard material - including steel, glass and PVC - from 1,2mm to 225mm with a resolution of 0.1mm and an accuracy of ±(0.5% + 0.1mm).

Thickness is gauged through the Huatec TG-8812’s ultrasonic technology whereby the transmitter probe feeds ultrasonic sound waves into the material and measures the time of the echo in order to gain an accurate picture of the thickness of the material.

Results are shown on the Huatec TG-8112’s backlit digital display and operation is undertaken via a simple push-button interface. The instrument is supplied with an ultrasonic probe / transducer, glycerin bottle and carry case.
