Trend FiberTEK IV-SM Laser Kit
The Trend FiberTEK IV-SM Laser Kit can be used in conjunction with the Trend LANTEK IV Cable Certifier to test single-mode fibre optic data cables. It is capable of testing to international standards including ANSI/TIA and ISO/IEC and has a field calibration feature that allows 1 and 3 jumper field calibration.
Bi-directional measurements are possible using the Trend FiberTEK IV and it also supports encircled flux testing as an optional extra. Faults and fibre ports can be located by using the module’s red laser light source. A separate LED indication flashes green when the unit is connected to the LANTEK IV and red when a separate light source is detected.
Testing is streamlined as the FiberTEK IV negates the need to manually merge directional tests into one record. The test module supports connector types including SC, FC and ST leads thanks to included adaptors.
The FiberTEK IV-MM Laser Kit comes supplied with two single-mode FiberTEK IV modules, a useful carry case, cable adaptors, an SC-SC patch cord, and a quick reference guide.
