The incorporated testing features of the Trend SignalTEK NT Copper and Fibre Network Transmission Tester are both numerous and exceedingly useful. Whether it be for installation testing or a troubleshooting/diagnostic task, the SignalTEK's functions are applicable for both cabling and active networks.

Monitor test connection speeds, port ID, ping, traceroute and IPv4/IPv6, while network load testing is carried out by the SignalTEK NT through switches which simulate CCTV/IPTV/VoIP/Web traffic. PoE/PoE+ (Power over Ethernet) verification displays the available voltage at device locations, confirming if the available power meets the PoE device requirements. Check Ethernet connectivity at device locations to 10/100/1000 Mb/s and verify network configurations; device IP/gateway address/subnet mask.

Use the SignalTEK NT Tester to stress test networks before installing bandwidth hungry devices, or test the throughput of an industrial Ethernet LAN. Ergonomic Handheld Design

Built for life in the field, the rugged casing of the SignalTEK NT provides protection against knocks and drops. Support for shielded and unshielded twisted pair cables is provided including Cat 5e, Cat 6, Cat 6A and Cat 7 TIA 568A and 568B wiring schemes. There is no requirement for annual calibration and this Transmission Tester even includes field replaceable RJ45 contacts to eliminate downtime from damaged or worn connectors.
