The Kane 945 Industrial Flue Gas Analyser is a powerful instrument that is intended for use in industrial and commercial appliances that burn fuels including oil, gas and biomass. In addition to a range of useful measurement functions, the analyser also has an integrated heavy duty pump to assist analysis on commercial boilers.

The Kane 945 is capable of measuring oxygen (0 to 25%), carbon monoxide (0 to 4000ppm, H2-compensated sensor), temperature and pressure as standard. This allows it to calculate further values including CO2, CO/CO2 ratio, combustion efficiency and excess air. The analyser is therefore suitable for performance checks, safety checks, flue draught measurements and other tests during the installation, commissioning and servicing of industrial appliances.

Alongside the standard measurement and calculation functions, a set of optional sensors can be fitted to the Kane 945 thanks to the upgradeable design. It is possible to add a high range CO sensor (0 to 10%), an SO2 sensor (0 to 5000ppm), an NO sensor (0 to 5000ppm), a low range NO sensor (0 to 100ppm), and an NO2 sensor (0 to 1000ppm). Please note that sensors can only be fitted by Kane upon purchase or during servicing and that a maximum of TWO sensors can be fitted to a single analyser.

The Kane 945 has a clear digital display capable of showing up to eight readings at once and it can store up to 150 test results in its internal memory. These can then be printed using an optional infrared printer or the user can choose to add an optional Android wireless module which allows data transfer to Kane Live software or the free Kane Live app. Reports can then be generated and printed from an appropriate smart device.

A flue probe, carry case and calibration report are supplied as standard with the Kane 945 and it has a compact, portable design despite being suitable for heavy duty industrial applications. It has a practical eight-hour battery life
