The Martindale NC4 Dual-Sensitivity Non-Contact Voltage Detector is a useful AC voltage detector that can detect voltage across two different ranges: 12V to 1000V AC and 50V to 1000V AC. This makes it suitable for detecting live conductors in mains-powered installations, thus helping protect the user.

Voltage presence is indicated by the Martindale NC4’s audible and visual indication. The long tip – designed to allow greater access to wiring – glows red when voltage is detected and a buzzer also sounds. The detector benefits from an integrated torch and has a pen-style design with a clip for the user’s belt or top pocket. It is powered by two AA batteries.
