Martindale PD690SX Proving Unit with CALCHECK

The Martindale PD690SX Proving Unit with CALCHECK is a useful proving device for safe isolation procedures and can also be used to calibrate the user’s test equipment. It produces a known voltage source of 690V 50Hz which can be used to check the performance of a two-pole voltage tester before and after each and every use, thereby following a safe isolation procedure as set out in the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989.

A number of calibration features are available on the Martindale PD690SX. It is capable of checking that multifunction testers, insulation testers, and continuity testers are not drifting in between their annual calibrations. It has both twin insulation values (0.5MΩ and 1MΩ) and continuity values (0.5Ω and 1Ω) for checking the appropriate test functions.

The Martindale PD690SX comes with a two-year guarantee and a set of six 1.5V AA batteries. The unit has LEDs to show low battery and high voltage it also comes supplied with a useful magnetic hanger.
