Martindale VT25/PD-S Voltage Indicator and Proving Unit Kit

The Martindale VT25/PD-S Voltage Indicator and Proving Unit Kit allows the user to check that electrical circuits are safely isolated before beginning work. It includes a Martindale VT25 voltage indicator alongside a proving unit with a handy carry case.

The two-pole Martindale VT25 Voltage Indicator is a slimline instrument with an ergonomic design that is comfortable to carry and use. It can detect AC/DC voltage from 12 to 690V with an LED display that indicates nominal voltage at 12V, 24V, 50V, 120V, 230V, 400V and 690V.

Additional tests on the Martindale VT25 include a phase rotation test and a continuity test with visual and audible indication up to 500kΩ. An LED torch and double insulation make it an ideal instrument for electrical professionals.

For reliable tester accuracy, a lightweight Martindale PD440S Proving Unit is supplied with the kit. For safe isolation procedures, prove the performance of your two-pole voltage tester by connecting both poles to the corresponding terminals. The proving device will then create a continuous 440V, 50Hz voltage supply, this output will last for up to 10 seconds or less if the probe tips are removed beforehand.

A handy carry case with a useful strap is provided for both the different components in the kit with specific compartments for both instruments.
